My source of information on Face Book was from Jennifer David.
THE LARGEST MASS SHOOTING IN US HISTORY HAPPENED December 29,1890. When 297 Sioux Indians at Wounded Knee Creek on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota were murdered by federal agents & members of the 7th Cavalry who had come to confiscate their firearms “for their own safety and protection”. The slaughter began after the majority of the Sioux had peacefully turned in their firearms. The Calvary began shooting, and managed to wipe out the entire camp. 200 of the 297 victims were women and children. Wounded Knee was among the first federally backed gun confiscation attempts in United States history. It ended in the senseless murder of 297 people. The Second Amendment, the right of the people to take up arms in defense of themselves, their families, and property in the face of invading armies or an oppressive government. The Second Amendment was written by people who fled oppressive and tyrannical regimes in Europe, and it refers to the right of American citizens to be armed for defensive purposes, should such tyranny arise in the United States. Wounded Knee is the prime example of why the Second Amendment exists, and why we should vehemently resist any attempts to infringe on our Rights to Bear Arms. Without the Second Amendment we will be totally stripped of any ability to defend ourselves and our families.

Further Comments from Jennifer the day following her posting.
Been a bit sick with anxiety today as it was very apparent that I was in for a great deal of speculation & scrutiny from the general public. I have received many thanks for posting about Wounded Knee & over 1000 friend requests. I have also been called filthy names by people questioning my intelligence as well as my character. Here is what I have to say to all. *I posted a paraphrased version of a post that I agreed and identified with, it did not originate from me. *Native Americans have always been quite vocal in support of their two spirit people, they were not treated as sinful or bad, in fact some tribes held them in very high regard. *Asking large Media outlets to stop ignoring Native American History, which is US history, and to make sure they report accurate information rather than Weekly World News headlines that have a sole purpose, to grab the attention of the general public, a public that is known to just believe whatever the media tells them, is not a ploy for attention. *I choose to speak out in support of my people, which includes not allowing our history/plight to be glossed over & dismissed at every possible turn. *At no point did I utter any words remotely similar to those some of you have accused me of. Of course I think what this man has done is devastatingly horrible, an act of hate and terror, it sickens me that people have this kind of evil within them. *I watch many Native Americans on social media immediately defend or stand in support/solidarity of other minorities & persecuted groups without hesitation. Why? Because we know exactly what they have experienced, we know that it is not imagined, we identify, but as we try to tell those groups how we relate, why it's important that we all support eachother, we often hear, this isn't about you, stop whining. No it is not a competition, it never has been, it has been an idiotic neverending game of divide and conquer, seamlessly orchestrated by the same ones that get persecute us all individually whenever they feel like it. I DO NOT MEAN WHITE PEOPLE, I'm specifically referring to Bigots, Supremacists, Elitists, Narcissists, Sociopaths, basically anyone who thinks some aspect of their birth automatically makes them better or more deserving the great things then all others. Can I pull the knife from my back now? *Truth in history? Is it even a possibility. Over a dozen people have messaged me with, "here is what really went down at Wounded Knee." All different stories/accountings. One of them must have researched very hard to tell me how the killing of all those women & children was an action in response to all the injuns raping all the white women and kidnapping all their children. *One apparent, lady historian enlighted me on how the Europeans that moved here, were not oppressed, but instead they were all from nobility, wow, so there was no emptying out of the prisons & looney bins, no freedom of worship issues? The founding fathers fought a war against Europe and painstakingly created a Constitution that they believed would keep the country free of tyranny and oppression all on a lark, just for the heck of it? *I almost forgot all the obviously psychic people who made it a point to tell me of the hidden meanings behind Headlines. They meant by one person, they meant non military or conflict. It amuses me that I'm the stupid one, because I happen to know that you cannot make a statement and then infer additional meaning or words "psychically transmitted words," after the fact.
